Kerry N Rabenold Pavilion Dedication

09-13-2017

Biology's new log cabin, built at the Ross Biological Reserve, was officially dedicated on Sept 9. The building was named the Kerry N Rabenold Pavilion in honor of Dr. Kerry Rabenold whose tireless work over the last decade has culminated in the construction of this magnificent building. The building was designed to be energy efficient, and indeed a bank of solar panels on its roof generates more power than the building uses. The complex houses an apartment for the Ecologist-in-Residence and a pavilion that is designed to act as a staging area and outdoor classroom for K-12 outreach activities.
