Spring 2016 Biological Sciences Alumni Advisory Committee Meeting

The Biological Sciences Alumni Advisory Committee (BSAAC) met on campus during the first week in April for a session entitled 'Tomorrow is Coming'. During their visit to campus the group heard from Dr. Suresh Garimella who spoke of the vision of the Life Sciences Initiative and junior and senior level faculty regarding the future of the department. The committee broke out into groups with the BIOL 293 students in the afternoon and discussed the impact their Biological Sciences degree has had on their career. Following a presentation by Dr. Richard Kuhn and Dr. Donna Fekete regarding the vision for the Pillars of Excellence, Dr. Kuhn and Devika Sirohi presented the group with the recent Zika structure findings.
