Prahatha Venkatraman received a scholarship to participate in the neurobiology course

Prahatha Venkatraman, a graduate student in the Department of Biological Sciences, was accepted and received a scholarship to participate in the neurobiology course at the Marine Biological Laboratories in Woods Hole, Massachusetts. During the two-month course Venkatraman will blog about her experience at https://www.bio.purdue.edu/lab/leung/blog/?p=1679. Venkatraman is a member of professor Yuk Fai Leung's research team and is working with a zebrafish model to find new ways to improve vision and treat retinal degeneration. The Marine Biological Laboratory is dedicated to scientific discovery and improving the human condition through research and education in biology, biomedicine and environmental science.
