Brent Auer

Brent Auer, class of 1988 (BS), spoke recently with students in the sophomore seminar course BIOL 293, Planning Your Future in Biology, taught by Professor Richard Kuhn, Department Head and Kathleen Weller, Academic Advisor. Auer is a Business Operations Support Coordinator at American Electric Power in Fort Wayne, IN. Brent joined Indiana Michigan Power (a unit of American Electric Power (AEP)) as a chemist at their nuclear power plant in Michigan upon completion of his degree at Purdue. After five years, Auer decided that AEP was a good fit for him and he wanted to continue his career there. Receiving a MBA from Notre Dame opened up many career opportunities for him. Brent takes pride in the fact that he has now been with AEP for twenty plus years.

Biological Sciences would like to thank Brent for his time and contribution to the success of our students. Together we are changing the face of science.
