Professor and Mrs. Edward H. Simon Scholarship

Alumni and friends of the Department of Biological Sciences and Mrs. Cyrelle Simon created the Professor and Mrs. Edward H. Simon Scholarship Fund upon Professor Simon’s death in October 2006. Over the past 46 years Professor Simon has taught thousands of students. For many of them he left a lasting impression of his scientific knowledge and his unique wit. This scholarship fund will support first-generation students involved in the HORIZONS Student Support Program. The scholarship will be awarded to returning students in the Department of Biological Sciences. The Professor and Mrs. Edward H. Simon Scholarship Fund will be a lasting tribute to Professor and Mrs. Simon’s nearly half century of service to Purdue and the scientific community.
