Apostolia has obtained B.Sc in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Democritus University of Thrace in Greece. Currently, she is a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Paschou and working on genome wide association studies for complex diseases.

Mary Kaka obtained a BS in Microbiology and MS in Medical Microbiology and Biotechnology from Adeleke University, Nigeria. The vast majority of her past research focused on computational biology and bioinformatics, including some studies on antimicrobial resistance. She is currently a PhD student in the Lab of Dr. Paschou and is working on studying the genetics of complex trait diseases and bioinformatics.

Pritesh Jain has a Bachelors of Technology in Genetic Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, India and currently pursuing his PhD at Purdue University through the Dept. of Biology and the PULSe program. His project is focused on exploring the applications of polygenic risk scores of complex disorders to determine differences in genetic risk across various populations and identifying phenotypes associated with increased genetic risk of various diseases.

Yin Jin obtained his Medical Degree and MSc in Neurology from Dalian Medical University. He also holds a MSc in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from University of Southern California. At the Paschou lab he studies neurodegeneration, integrating genomic and neuroimaging data to undetstand the role of neuroinflammation in brain aging.
