Description:

This course examines current topics and trends in primary literatures with an emphasis on roles of bacteria in cancer disease and prevention. Students are guided to read and discuss primary research articles on cancer-causing bacteria, cancer-promoting bacteria, cancer-reducing bacteria, and cancer therapy with engineered bacteria.
